A Course, Not an Appointment
Laser hair removal works on the growth cycle, which is why it takes a planned series and why anyone promising it in one session is not being straight with you.

Why the Growth Cycle Decides Everything
A hair follicle is only vulnerable to the laser while it is actively growing, because that is the phase where the pigment in the hair connects to the structure that produces it. At any given moment only a share of the follicles in an area are in that phase.
That is the entire reason this is a course. Each session catches the follicles that happen to be growing that day. Spacing the sessions to the cycle of that specific area, which differs between an upper lip and a lower leg, is what makes the series efficient rather than repetitive.
It is also why the honest word is reduction rather than removal. Most people end up with substantially less hair, finer hair, and slower regrowth, and many go to occasional maintenance. Permanent total clearance is not something we will promise you.
Worth Booking a Consultation If This Is You
And if your hair or skin type makes you a poor candidate, we would rather tell you before you buy a package.
Three Steps, Start to Finish
Skin and Hair Assessed First
Your skin type and your hair color together decide the settings and, sometimes, whether we treat you at all. This is not a formality.
A Test Patch Where It Matters
On a new area or a higher risk skin type we test first and wait. Treating the whole area on day one is how people get burned.
A Series Spaced to the Area
We schedule the course to the growth cycle of the area we are treating, and we tell you at the start how many sessions we expect.
Tanned Skin Does Not Get Treated
It is the rule people argue with most and the one we will not move on. More melanin at the surface is exactly how burns happen.
What a Session and a Series Look Like
Why Hair Color Matters More Than You Think
The laser targets melanin, the pigment in the hair shaft. Energy is absorbed by that pigment, converted to heat, and conducted down to the structures that generate the hair. Dark, coarse hair absorbs well. Gray, white, red and very fine blonde hair contain little or no melanin, which means there is nothing for the laser to find.
The same physics explains the skin type rule. Melanin in the surrounding skin also absorbs the energy, and the more of it there is, the smaller the margin between treating the hair and burning the skin. Skin type assessment sets the wavelength, the fluence and the pulse duration, and on recently tanned skin the safe settings do not exist yet.
Real risks are burns, blistering, and pigment changes in either direction, all of which are far more likely when settings are pushed or when someone treats around a tan. Rare paradoxical stimulation of finer hair is also documented. We will go through what applies to your skin and hair before we book a course.

What People Ask Us First
Generally not, and we would rather say so than sell you a package that cannot work. The laser needs pigment in the hair to find its target. If your hair is gray, white or very fair, we will tell you at the consultation.
It varies by area, by hair density and by how your follicles cycle. We will give you an expected range at the consultation and reassess as the course progresses, rather than quoting a number that sounds appealing.
The honest word is reduction. Most people end up with far less hair, finer hair and much slower regrowth, and many keep a light maintenance schedule. Anyone guaranteeing permanent total removal is overselling.
No. This is the one rule we do not bend. Recently tanned skin has more melanin at the surface to absorb the energy, and that is precisely how burns and pigment changes happen. We will reschedule you.
Yes, shave as much as you like. What you must not do is wax, pluck or thread, because those remove the follicle contents the laser needs to target, and the session is wasted.
