Controlled Injury, Deliberate Repair
Thousands of microscopic channels that trigger your own collagen response, with or without radiofrequency energy added at depth.

Two Related Treatments, One Principle
Microneedling creates a controlled field of microscopic channels in the skin. Each one is a tiny, precisely limited injury, and the body's response to it is to lay down new collagen and elastin as it heals. The treatment does not add anything. It asks your skin to rebuild itself.
RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy delivered through the needle tips at a set depth. That heat causes immediate collagen contraction alongside the wound healing response, which reaches laxity that needling alone will not.
Which one suits you depends on what you are treating and how much recovery you can absorb. Texture and superficial scarring often respond well to needling alone. Laxity and deeper scarring usually need energy. We will tell you which category you are in rather than defaulting to the more expensive option.
A Good Fit If Any of This Sounds Familiar
Active acne, certain skin conditions and some medications change the answer. Tell us everything at consultation.
Three Steps, Start to Finish
We Set the Depth
Depth is decided by what we are treating and where on the face we are treating it. This is the part that separates a result from a red face.
Numbing, Then Treatment
Topical anesthetic goes on first and needs time to work, which is why the appointment is longer than the treatment.
We Space the Series
Collagen takes weeks to build. Treating again before that has happened wastes a session, so we space them properly.
We Are Not Adding Anything to Your Face
This treatment asks your skin to rebuild itself. That is why it takes months and why the result holds.
Redness First, Collagen Later
The Wound Healing Cascade, Kept Small
A micro channel triggers the same three phase healing response as any wound: inflammation, proliferation and remodeling. Because the injury is tiny and the surrounding tissue is intact, healing proceeds without scarring and the proliferation phase deposits new collagen and elastin in the treated plane.
Radiofrequency adds a second mechanism. Heat delivered at a controlled depth denatures existing collagen fibers, which contract immediately, and stimulates fibroblasts to produce more over the following months. The immediate tightening and the delayed rebuilding are different effects arriving on different timelines.
Depth, energy and spacing are the variables that decide whether this is a good treatment or a damaging one. Treating too deep, too hot or too often causes the problem it is meant to solve. That is a large part of why we would rather a physician set the parameters than a protocol.

What People Ask Us First
With topical numbing, most people find it very manageable. RF microneedling is felt more than needling alone, particularly around bony areas. We will talk you through it and go at a pace you are comfortable with.
Expect meaningful redness for the first day and something closer to a flush for another day or two. RF treatments usually run a little longer. Plan the first one when you have a quiet couple of days.
Most concerns respond to a series rather than a single treatment, and scarring in particular takes patience. We will set a realistic expectation up front.
Yes. Platelet rich plasma applied into freshly created channels is a common and well reasoned pairing, and we offer it. Whether it is worth it for your skin is a conversation rather than an upsell.
Needling alone carries a lower risk of pigment change than many light based treatments, which is one of its advantages. Settings still need to be chosen carefully, and we will discuss your specific risk with you.
