The Questions People Actually Ask
Answered the way we would answer them across a desk, including the ones with answers you might not want to hear.

Aevum is physician led. Joel assesses you and performs the medical and surgical treatments personally. You will be told who is doing what before anything is booked.
No. You can book a consultation directly.
Yes, and a meaningful part of the practice is built for men specifically, covering facial treatment, hair restoration, jawline definition, sexual wellness and performance optimization.

Assessment First, Every Time
Almost every question below has the same answer underneath it: it depends on what is actually going on, and we will not know that until we have looked at you properly.
That is not evasion. It is the difference between a practice that assesses and a practice that runs a menu. Two people asking for the same treatment frequently need two different things, and the only way to find that out is to look.
So the answers here tell you how we think, what to expect and what we will and will not promise. The specific answer for you comes out of the consultation.
Your First Visit
We look at what is actually causing what you are seeing, explain the options including the option of doing nothing yet, and give you a written plan with a clear sense of cost. You are not asked to decide on the day.
No. Nobody here works on commission, so there is no incentive to sell you something you do not need. If what you are asking for will not do what you want it to do, we will tell you.
Sometimes, for straightforward treatments, if it is appropriate and you want to. The first appointment is primarily for assessment, and there is no expectation that you commit to anything.
Photo ID, your medication and supplement list, relevant medical history, and details of any previous aesthetic treatment. Old photographs of yourself are genuinely the most useful thing you can bring.
Yes. There is a lot of information in a first consultation and a second set of ears helps.
Paying for Treatment
It depends entirely on what you need and how much of it. We will give you a clear sense of cost in your consultation, before you commit to anything, rather than a number over the phone that turns out to be wrong.
Not as a price list, because the honest answer to what something costs depends on your assessment. You will know the cost of your plan before you agree to it.
Aesthetic treatment generally is not. Parts of the vein and surgical menu can be handled differently depending on your plan and what the evaluation documents. We will tell you which category you appear to be in.
Yes. Membership is built for patients whose care is ongoing rather than occasional, and it covers priority scheduling, member pricing, early access and member events.
We do not run public discounts. Value for regular patients sits inside membership instead.
If You Do Not See Your Question Here
Call or text us and ask it. The questions people are slightly embarrassed to ask are usually the most useful ones, and we would far rather answer them before you book than after.
Results, Risk and Recovery
That is what the consultation is for. What you are seeing and what is causing it are frequently different things, and choosing a treatment before answering that question is how people waste money.
Not if it is dosed and placed correctly. What people recognize is overtreatment. We start conservative and bring you back to assess rather than chasing a result in one sitting.
It varies by treatment, by dose, by area and by person. We will give you a realistic range for your specific plan rather than a best case, and we will tell you what maintenance looks like.
It ranges from none to about a week depending on what you have. You will know exactly what to expect before you book, not on the day.
Every treatment here has some. We go through the ones that matter for your specific treatment, how likely they are, and what we would do about them, before you decide anything.
Frequently, and the order matters more than people expect. Sequencing a plan properly is a large part of the value of being assessed by one physician rather than assembling treatments piecemeal.
The Answers We Give That Nobody Enjoys
We will not guarantee an outcome. Bodies vary, and any practice guaranteeing a specific result is either not thinking carefully or not being honest with you.
We will not treat you because you asked. If what you want will not achieve what you are describing, or if the timing is wrong, or if you are not a candidate, you will hear that instead of a booking.
And we will not quote you a price over the phone for something we have not seen. It sounds helpful and it is usually wrong, and being wrong about cost is a poor way to start.

Where Most People Go Next
Ask Us the Question You Have Not Asked Anyone.
That is usually the one that decides whether a treatment is right for you.
