How It Actually Works
A small blood draw is spun in a centrifuge to separate its components. The platelet rich fraction is concentrated and then reintroduced, either by injection or through microneedling channels. Platelets release growth factors that recruit repair cells to the area.
EZ Gel PRX takes the same starting material and processes it into a gel, which behaves differently in tissue than liquid plasma does and suits different applications.
The evidence base is strongest for hair and for skin quality. Some other applications are promising and still developing. We will not present an emerging use as settled science, and if the honest answer is that a conventional treatment has better evidence for your goal, that is what we will recommend.

Before You Book
It is a standard blood draw, the same as any lab test. The treatment itself is numbed and most patients describe it as very manageable.
Usually a short initial course spaced weeks apart, then maintenance. The exact number depends on what we are treating and how you respond.
Filler adds volume immediately using a manufactured product. Regenerative treatment stimulates your own tissue to improve over time. They solve different problems and sometimes the right answer is one, sometimes the other, sometimes both.
Because the material is your own, product reaction is not a concern. The usual risks of any injection still apply: bruising, swelling and infection. We will go through those with you.
Weeks rather than days, and it continues improving for a few months. If you need a visible change by a specific date, tell us and we will plan the timing backwards from it.
