Surgery Is Core Here,
Not an Afterthought
Upper eyelid surgery, lip lift, awake liposuction and fat transfer, performed by the physician who evaluated you.
Aesthetic Surgery at Aevum
Most practices offering aesthetics stop where surgery begins, which means when an injectable is the wrong answer you get one anyway. That gap is a large part of why Aevum exists.
Aesthetic surgery here covers upper eyelid surgery, the lip lift, awake liposuction across the face, arms, thighs, abdomen, flank, back and bra line, fat transfer, and neck liposuction. These are the procedures that address structure, and structure is something no syringe can fix.
Awake body contouring means the procedure is performed under local anesthetic rather than general. For the right candidate and the right area, that means less trauma, a faster recovery and none of the risk that comes with going under.
Four Reasons This Is Different Here
The Right Tool for the Problem
When skin has to be removed or tissue repositioned, filler cannot do it. Being able to say that honestly requires being able to perform the alternative.
Awake Where Appropriate
Local anesthetic where the procedure allows it, which means a shorter day, a faster recovery and a different risk profile.
Evaluated, Not Sold
Surgery is the one decision that should never be made quickly. If you are not a good candidate, or the timing is wrong, you will hear it plainly.
One Practice, Both Paths
Your surgical and non-surgical care sit in the same file with the same physician, so the plan actually stays coherent.

If Surgery Is Not the Right Answer, We Will Say So
Sometimes the honest recommendation is a smaller procedure, or waiting, or nothing at all. You will hear that here.
How It Actually Works
Surgery changes structure. An injectable changes volume or muscle activity. That is the whole distinction, and it is why the two are not substitutes for each other. Heavy upper eyelids are excess skin. No amount of neuromodulator removes skin.
Awake procedures use local anesthetic to numb a defined area while you remain conscious. Avoiding general anesthesia removes an entire category of risk and generally shortens recovery, but it is not appropriate for every patient or every area, and that is a candidacy question rather than a preference.
Every surgical procedure carries real risk: bleeding, infection, scarring, asymmetry and results that need revision. We will go through those specifically for your procedure, and we would rather talk you out of something than perform it on someone who has not properly understood it.
Everything We Offer Under Aesthetic Surgery
Before You Book
That is exactly what the consultation determines. As a rule, if the issue is excess skin or a structural position, surgery is the honest answer. If it is volume or muscle activity, it usually is not. You will get that answer straight.
The area is numbed with local anesthetic and you remain conscious throughout. No general anesthesia, no breathing tube, and generally a faster recovery. It is not right for every patient or every area and we will tell you if you are not a candidate.
It varies by procedure and by how much area is treated. Some patients are back to desk work within days, others need longer. We will give you a realistic recovery window before you book, including the part where you will not want to be seen.
Any incision leaves a scar. The question is where it sits and how well it hides. We will show you exactly where the incisions go and what to expect as they mature.
Often, and sequencing matters. Some things are better done before surgery, some after. Because both sit under one physician here, that sequence is planned rather than accidental.
