Health Span, Measured and Managed
The name is on the door for a reason. This is the program the rest of the practice is built around.

Health Span Rather Than Lifespan
AEVUM means lifetime, and longevity is the reason this practice exists rather than a service line added to it. The distinction we work to is health span rather than lifespan: not simply how long you live, but how long you stay strong, sharp, capable and independent.
In practice that means measuring properly and then acting on what the measurements show. Comprehensive bloodwork, body composition, metabolic markers, hormones and cardiovascular risk factors, reviewed together rather than one at a time by different people who never speak to each other.
It also means being honest about what moves the needle. Sleep, strength training, protein intake, cardiovascular fitness and not smoking outperform every supplement and every intervention on this page combined. Anything we add is added on top of those, never instead of them, and if the fundamentals are not in place that is where we start.
A Good Fit If Any of This Sounds Familiar
This is a long term relationship rather than a course of treatment.
Three Steps, Start to Finish
Comprehensive Baseline
Extended labs, body composition, history and what you actually want out of the next twenty years.
We Go Through It Together
Everything explained in plain language, including the results that are unremarkable and the ones that need attention.
A Plan and Real Follow Up
Priorities in order, with regular reviews and measurements. Progress you can see rather than progress you are told about.
Sleep and Strength Training Beat Everything on This Page
Any clinic that sells you a protocol without first asking about those two is selling you the expensive part and skipping the effective part.
A Program, Not a Course
What Actually Moves the Needle
The strongest evidence in longevity medicine is unglamorous. Cardiorespiratory fitness is among the most powerful predictors of all cause mortality that we can measure. Muscle mass and strength independently predict healthy aging. Sleep quality affects metabolic health, cognition and cardiovascular risk. None of these can be bought.
Metabolic health sits underneath much of the rest. Insulin resistance develops years before it appears as a diagnosis, and markers including fasting insulin, triglyceride to HDL ratio and inflammatory markers surface it earlier than a standard glucose test will.
Where supplements and newer interventions are concerned, the honest position is that evidence quality varies enormously and much of what is marketed as longevity medicine rests on animal data or small trials. We will use what is reasonable, tell you where the uncertainty lies, and keep the fundamentals at the center rather than at the edge.

What People Ask Us First
No. It is measurement, interpretation and a plan. If supplements have a role for you they are a small part of it, and we will tell you which ones are not worth your money.
A physical screens for disease. This looks for the early markers that precede it, and it acts on them. The two are complementary rather than competing.
No, and the earlier the better. A baseline taken while you feel well is far more useful than one taken after something has gone wrong.
Almost certainly, because that is where the evidence is strongest. We will be specific and practical about it rather than vague.
Regularly enough for measurements to mean something. We will set out the schedule at your baseline visit.
