Two People. One Standard.
Aevum is owned by the two providers who will actually be in the room with you. Both of them carry their own patients.
Two Owners. Two Providers. One Standard.
Aevum is not a group practice with a name on the door. Joel and Brittany own it together, both carry their own patients, and you can establish care with either of them.
I spent years watching patients get sold treatments nobody had properly evaluated them for, and I wanted to build the opposite of that. At Aevum I get to take the time a decision actually deserves, tell you honestly what will and will not work, and then do the work myself. If a treatment is wrong for you, you will hear that from me before you hear anything else.
More About JoelI do my own evaluations, I decide the plan with you, I carry out the treatment, and I follow you afterwards. My patients are my own from the first consultation onward, and you can establish care with me directly. What I want out of a first visit is for you to leave understanding your own situation better than when you arrived, rather than holding a recommendation you cannot explain to anyone else.
More About BrittanyIt Is Not a Phrase on a Website
Plenty of practices use the line. Here is what being treated by the people who own the place actually changes about your visit.
The Same Person, Start to Finish
You are evaluated by the provider who will treat you, whichever of them you choose. Your plan is not handed down from a consultation you had with somebody else.
No Is a Real Answer
A provider who is not working to a sales target can tell you when a treatment is wrong, when the timing is wrong, and when something outside aesthetics is driving what you are seeing.
Surgical and Non-Surgical Together
When an injectable is not the right answer, we can perform the procedure that is. You are not sent across town to start over.
You Will Always Know Who Is Treating You
And why they chose that treatment over the three others you could have had.
About the People Treating You
Whichever provider you book with. Joel is a board certified physician and Brittany is a board certified nurse practitioner and an independent provider. Both of them evaluate, treat and manage their own patients. As we grow we will add providers, and when we do, their names, credentials and photographs will be on this page before they ever treat a patient.
No. Aevum is owned by Joel and Brittany together. There is no corporate parent setting treatment quotas or deciding what gets recommended this quarter.
Yes. She is an independent provider with her own patients. You do not need to see Joel first and you do not need a referral from him. Ask for Brittany when you request your consultation.
Different credentials, not a different standard. Where a treatment sits with one of them specifically, you will be told that at the assessment rather than afterwards, and it moves across inside the same practice on the same record.
Yes. Tell us when you request your consultation and we will schedule you accordingly.
Yes. If the right answer for you is a dermatologist, an endocrinologist or a surgeon who specializes in something we do not, we will tell you and point you there. That costs us a booking and it is still the right call.
Come Meet Us Before We Open.
Tell us what you are hoping to change and we will reach out with consultation availability ahead of our opening in Orchard Park.
